If you follow my twitter, you know that I’ve been playing around with some coffee recipes lately. It’s a tough job but someone has to do it. I’ve been in the kitchen experimenting, and I thought I’d share one of my new favorites. It also happens to fit the season, but I could enjoy this drink any time of year. It’s easy to make and doesn’t require an expresso machine or a culinary genius (if I can make it anyone can).
Ingredients:
3 cups hot whole milk
4 teaspoons white sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla syrup
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
6 ounces double-strength brewed Guilt Free Bold coffee
3 tablespoons sweetened whipped cream
3 pinches pumpkin pie spice
Preparation:
- Warm the milk - This is the secret step. Heating the milk makes this a little sweeter.
- In a blender, mix the warm milk, sugar, vanilla syrup and pumpkin pie spice. Blend until whipped and frothy.
- Pour the mix into 3 tall mugs. Each should be filled about 2/3rds of the way full.
- Pour 2oz of double-strength coffee into each mug.
- Top with a tablespoon of whipped cream and pumpkin pie spice.
- Find two family members/friends to enjoy this with (or keep it all to yourself...).
That’s it. Let me know what you think in the comments or on twitter @guiltfreedrinks .
